Fashionable Opportunity

Put Your Brand on My Back

If you’ve been reading my blog for a decent amount of time, you may have noticed that I believe in periodic reinvention. As we grown, evolve and improve ourselves, we should take the time to document it. Social media is one way to accomplish that. In an effort to utilize my social media platforms and my increasing influence more frequently, I’ve decided to give an opportunity to those interested in gaining additional exposure to people who may notice their talents.

I’ve had a lot of company’s (and some haters) attempt to convince me that my social media following is insignificant because the number of my followers is “low”.  First, I’m not on social media to become famous. Second, don’t assume that the number of followers I have means I’m exaggerating my influence. In fact, my month long engagement for August 2015 on Twitter alone was in excess of 43,000+ views, retweets, mentions and replies and I only have 2,500+ followers. I’ve also been added to over 55 groups by other users on Twitter based on my skills and content. That data is both verifiable and consistent. My following may seem “low” but consists of individuals who have a great deal of influence themselves, including celebrities, athletes, corporate executives, bloggers, fashion brands, award winners and others who have several hundred thousand followers of their own. Therefore, they are the epitome of quality over quantity. And by following me, they are saying the same about me in return.

In preparation for the next event, Boss Ladies – Leave Your Feelings at the Door, on December 19, and my 2016 media/marketing campaign, I’m going to have 2 photo shoots before the end of 2015. During both photo shoots, I’m giving fashion designers and stylists an opportunity to provide the attire for me to wear.

The first photo shoot is taking place near the end of September.  I envision a high fashion/haute couture ala Empire photo shoot with about four looks. The next photo shoot will be before December and I’m looking for a variety of looks from business casual to high fashion. Both photo shoots will take place in Detroit, Michigan, but that doesn’t mean the opportunity isn’t for anyone outside of Detroit. After all, UPS exists for a reason. Both photo shoots will results in photos of me being seen on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Google+ and in print and media marketing campaigns for Super Woman Productions and Publishing for up to a year by our growing international audience.

Remember – quality over quantity.

Happy New Prosperous Year!

It’s a new year, full of new possibilities!

2012 resulted in a lot of growth for me personally, professionally and for the Super Woman Brand. Change is good, but it isn’t always easy. I’m finally at a place where I can actually see things coming together. And it’s a beautiful sight to behold. If nothing else, I’ve learned a lot about patience and the rewards that come about from being more patient.

In 2012 I had to make a lot of hard decisions also. More proof that change isn’t always easy. Letting go and letting God work in your life can be very challenging. I stepped deeper into my faith and learned how to walk in it more as well. I don’t let people deter me or determine me with their own personal agendas. And many people have tried…and failed.

In 2012 I had to cut a lot of people from my life. Well, honestly it wasn’t always me. Most of the time it was God weeding my garden and taking out the trash when He was done. Everyone isn’t meant to reap the benefits of my work, my creativity or the life that the Master’s Plan is resulting in. God made sure they left and that they are not missed. Some people who were cut off before 2012 tried to come back in 2012. They learned that they were no longer welcome in my Super World.

I ended 2012 on a very high note. And this is just the beginning!

2013 has so much to offer. The FabLife Radio Show is doing very well and will improve tremendously going into the new year. We have new guests scheduled and returning guests who enjoyed being on the show from 2012. I’m preparing to fully launch FabLife Apparel and Accessories in 2013. The Official Super Woman YouTube Channel will be home of new digital video content. I suggest that you subscribe so that you’ll receive information as its posted online. I’m increasing my workforce to allow young people to gain experience in their fields of study. It has taken almost a year to find the best of the best, but it has been well worth it. Many additional opportunities have presented themselves in my career for 2013 and are in negotiations. As all of my plans become finalized Super Fans will be the first to know.

Some of my new opportunities are a result of my 2012 goals that were set and worked on by my Super Manager and I. So they didn’t just fall out of the sky like Kryptonite and they aren’t just because I’m cute. They were a part of a plan. Proof that proper planning produces prosperity.

As I begin my 2013 with a very long list of goals to accomplish and many already near completion, I hope that you will also set goals for yourself. When setting your goals, make sure that you are patient with yourself and the processes. Everything doesn’t happen overnight or by magic for everyone. People who have it the easiest often don’t last long and lack true substance. That is true for everything from weight loss to increasing your earning potential. In anything you do, you want to strive for longevity. Longevity takes planning, productivity, prayer and patience. Those are just a few of the requirements, not all of them.

Happy New Prosperous Year, Super Fans! Let’s make 2013 Fabulous!

What I Learned In Therapy

I completed my relationship therapy. *Happy Dance* Now I’m a lot more comfortable with everything going on in my life. I’m more comfortable being single. I’m more comfortable doing business with men. I’m more comfortable with who I am. Although I had a fear of being alone, in the end there isn’t anythingwrongwith me. In fact, my career is my “husband” for now; and contrary to what others may think, right now my career treats me very well. It doesn’t lie to me. It doesn’t cheat on me. It doesn’t blame me for its problems. It gives me a warm glow that people find attractive. It puts a smile on my face and gives me something to look forward to. Sounds like I’m already in a good, healthy and fulfilling relationship.

I still don’t like or appreciate people who are dishonest. But that just shows that I have character and will not allow people to insult my intelligence with their lies. I’m still hardworking and ambitious to a fault, but I’ve learned that it is perfectly fine for me to enjoy my mini-accomplishments just as much as I enjoy my BIG ones. I discovered that is okay for me to occasionally pat myself on the backmean it and not apologize for it. I just needed confirmation from someone on the outside looking in, with a truly unbiased viewpoint, who would not tell me what they thought I wanted to hear, that I am not “crazy”, “insecure”, “delusional” or “full of trust issues” that are “preventing me from having good relationships”. In fact, I’m not the person with the problem at all. I just don’t believe in unicorns, and I refuse to allow others to convince me that unicorns exist when I’m well aware that they do not.

I like reality. I accept change. I embrace the truth, no matter how painful.

I’m just fine, regardless of what other people, who believe in unicorns, may think.

Now I’ve spread my wings even more. I now have my radio show called The FabLife Radio Show. The first week’s show that aired on Friday, October 12 had almost 400 listeners (at last count). *Happy Dance* This week I’d like to see that number increase tremendously. But even if it goes to just 401, I’ll still be happy. And I think all of my Super Fans for making those numbers possible. {Make sure you check out the current Super Fan Offers for my token of appreciation}

I had to let some things and people “go” in the last few days. I just don’t have the time or patience for people who don’t see the BIGGER picture. I like forward thinking people. Those are the people I want to collaborate and do business with. Those are the people who understand growth and marketability. During my therapy I learned that having realistic standards is a good thing. I learned that listening to your instincts is a good thing. I learned that having goals is a good thing. And I learned that along this path in life, there will be many times when others just won’t understand that. I learned that as a result, I have to be ready to say “good-bye” and sometimes “good riddance” to those people, in order to allow people who do understand to have the opportunity instead.

It’s actually very simple when you think about it.

So I’m forging ahead. I have a great deal of work ahead of me and a great deal of success to enjoy. God speed to those I had to leave behind, cut ties with and delete. I hope that they will find their way to whatever they are searching for in life… It just won’t be with me.

~ When you truly know your worth, you don’t need to lower your standards to make others happy. If they can’t step up, tell them to step aside. #MogulMindset – Super Woman
