It’s a new month in my Super World.
It amazes me how time flies and more so, how quickly something you’ve been working towards for years can begin to escalate. Several ideas I had years ago are now in a place to become something tangible and executable. Plans I made months ago are now actual goals with deadlines and near completion. I talk a lot about patience and my struggle with it. But I’ve learned how to be a lot more patient, with myself, in particular and it’s paying off now. I’ve conquered the fear of success and embraced the responsibilities that come with wanting more for myself, my family and my community.
I’m chasing my dreams instead of running from them.
In a short period of time, (weeks….literally), I’ve received several booking requests to either host events of be the key note speaker for events. I feel blessed to be in the position to do so and talented enough to prepare quickly in the time allotted. I still get people who think I’m too costly, but I realize that their failure to see the value in who I am and what I bring as a speaker is not something I can change. Either they Google me, and are impressed, or not. Plus, rejection is still a blessing in many instances. I have such a pet peeve about unprofessionalism that it is better for them to not see my value upfront than it would be for them to take advantage of me or worse, not pay me. Chasing my dreams also means being aware of what opportunities I shouldn’t explore. Everything ain’t for everybody.
This week The FabLife Radio Show begins its 4th Season on air. That is quite an accomplish as well considering it was just an idea that my co-host and business partner brought to me in 2012 and we weren’t sure exactly what would happen. In 2016 I’m launching a new division of The Super Woman Brand that will focus on artist management and live entertainment. All will be revealed once the documentation is in place.
I want to take the time to thank those who have been supportive of myself and my company in various ways over the years. Whether you have read something I wrote online, in print, in paperback; attended one of my many events, or shared content or information on social media about my company, I want you to know that I appreciate you tremendously. My growth may have been slow, but it’s ORGANIC because of YOU, and my engagement is impressive! That’s why I call you Super Fans!
For anyone who hasn’t read something I’ve written, online, in print, in paperback; attended one of my many events or shared content of information on social media about my company, you still have time to do so. You may have to play catch up because it is a lot of information and content, but some of my older stuff is really good and still relevant. Also, a lot of it is mobile enabled so that you can enjoy it from anywhere with an internet connection.
Thank you again for your continued support of the Super Woman Brand.
