Feedback is Welcomed!…and Needed.

I’m at a fork in the road where Super Woman Productions and Publishing is concerned. It has taken me 15 years to be able to realize my dreams. Things aren’t going well for me in this endeavor and I need to decide what direction to go in next. I don’t want to abandon my dreams and goals but I need to improve so that I can begin to earn a living. I understand that we’re in a fiscal recession (depression) and it’s difficult for everyone. However, there are still a lot of millionaires around and they aren’t suffering. In my life I have a greater purpose that involves helping others, but I can’t do that if I’m not able to feed myself. I owe a lot to others and the only way I can repay them is to become successful. I didn’t say rich. I said successful. There is a difference.

I can’t be successful without you. I’m not able to realize my purpose if no one ever sees, hears or reads me. Therefore, I am asking for your feedback. Your feedback is welcomed and greatly needed. It will be used so that I can either plan to improve or decide to dismantle Super Woman Productions and Publishing. That is the cross road I am currently at. My financial resources are gone so I have to make a hard choice. Before I go down with or sink my ship (it’s hard being the Captain), I need to know what you, my fans think, because I value you.

I have created a survey on Google for you to complete. This survey will allow me to measure what I can do to improve my business or decide if it is time to dismantle Super Woman Productions and Publishing. My goal is to convert my Super Fans into Super Consumers. Website hits, Tweets and Facebook Friends can’t measure the profitability of a business. Social media is only a small facet of what the Super Woman Brand is about. The first 50 people to complete the survey will receive an invitation from me to join Google+ . Please share the survey with people you know by email, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. The more people that complete the survey, the better I can determine my next step. I love you and thank you for sharing.

New Year – New Goal

I don’t do resolutions; I set goals.  I have several goals for Super Woman Productions and Publishing LLC.  Some of those goals include being a brand that gives opportunities to aspiring authors to realize their dreams of becoming published.  How can that be accomplished if I don’t have people on my team that believe that you, the people, deserve to know that my company exists?  Another goal is for me to publish three books of my own this year.  How can I accomplish that goal if I don’t have people on my team who want you, the people, to know that there are books being written and published?  I want to be a household name, company and brand synonymous with publishing and eventually television and movie production.  How can I ever reach that goal if I’m kept in a box built by someone else?

I’m all for maintaining a level of privacy.  I’m aware that I need to be careful about who I associate with, date, have relationships with, and whom I’m seen in public with.  However, I’m realistic.  I know that if I want to claim the crown as The Queen of All Media one day, I can’t do that if I’m a “secret”.  I can’t assist others with becoming successful if I’m not reaching and achieving success myself because I’m being hindered.  So I had to trim the fat from the team.  I had to free myself from the box of secrets controlled by someone else, who for some reason felt that I was doing everything “wrong” and that I don’t understand media.  Well, me doing things “wrong” resulted in me selling books, having my first book signing and having my first radio and magazine interviews.  His doing things “right” didn’t accomplish anything; except possibly causing me to lose opportunities.  At the end of the day, who did the better job?  That’s rhetorical.  We’re intelligent enough to know that selling books and gaining exposure and publicity trumps the “stop, wait and do nothing” method.

Now that it’s 2011, I’ve set a business goal.  I am open to business opportunities.  I’m available for motivation speaking engagements in and out of state.  I’m looking for investors who want to get into the entertainment industry in a way that will result in profits for them long term.  I’m looking for authors who are serious about becoming published and have the talent to be more than a one-book-wonder.  I’m available to plan your next major promotional or entertainment event.  I will appear on your radio or television show.  I will weigh all serious options and opportunities that come my way in 2011 that fit my business vision.  I didn’t start this company for it to be held hostage by someone else’s inability to think outside the box.  I started this company because I want to make a difference and I want to be successful.

Today is The Day

Today is the day.  I wasn’t expecting this day to happen this soon.  I have Tiffany Tilley and Gary Williams to thank, because it is right on time and it is forcing me to be proactive in the marketing of The Goodie Bag; The Erotic Fiction Collection.  Today is the day for my first Book Signing. It will be held at The Red Velvet Lounge, at Beans N Cornbread Restaurant, located at 29508 Northwestern Hwy in Southfield, Michigan from 5 pm to 10 pm.  I will also present an Intimacy Seminar to help people enhance their sexual relationships with their spouses and significant others.  Tonight I will explain what The Goodie Bag is, where the idea for the book orginated, and answer a few questions about my business and upcoming projects.  Currently the book is only available to purchase through this website for $20.  Tonight, at the Book Signing,  I will have copies available for purchase, and I will also unveil a special “treat” .

Yesterday someone said to me “I heard you wrote a book.  You told me you were going to, but I thought you were just talking. You know how people ‘just talk'”.  Obviously, this person doesn’t know me very well.  I don’t talk about anything I’m doing until it’s more than half done.  I don’t put out information about my ideas until they are already thought through and feasible.

I don’t pretend to do big things: I DO big things.

This isn’t just about me, although it IS about me.  At the end of the day, I am in business.  I am The Company, The Woman and The Brand.   I am completely responsible for the success or failure of my business.   Therefore, I have no choice but to go hard or go home.  Actually, I have no choice but to go hard, because failure isn’t an option for me at all.  The investment I’ve made is too great not to put my everything into it.  And I want a return on my investment.  I also want to help other writers realize their dreams.  Becoming published isn’t that easy.  Becoming recognized is even more difficult.  There are a lot of writers and publishers in the world that have barely sold 100 copies of their books.  I don’t plan on being one of the those writers or publishers.  I plan to establish and maintain longevity in this industry.  I plan to also broaden it.  Those plans will be revealed to the public, just like The Goodie Bag was; when the time is right.  I will offer a sneak peek of some of my ventures during my radio interview on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 10 pm on Kelly’s Kitchen airing LIVE on 88.1 FM.  You can watch the live stream at www.fm881whpr.com

So keep your eyes to the sky.  The Goodie Bag is just the beginning.  There are many more books and media ventures coming – sooner than you think.

I appreciate your support.

Smooches.
